All of my pottery is handmade functional stoneware with food-safe glazes. Each piece of pottery is personally made by me at my studio located in the Town of Edgefield, and is always signed and dated. The majority of my pottery is made working on an electric potter's wheel, however a few pieces are hand-built. All of my work is bisque fired to cone 04 (approximately 1900 degrees) and then hand glazed and fired to cone 6 (approximately 2200 degree) in a Skutt electric kiln. I work with a mid-fire stoneware clay. All of my glazes are mixed by hand in my studio and are always food-safe (no lead or barium.) My pottery is also microwave and dishwasher safe, however I do recommend hand washing as much as possible especially the wine glasses and anything that has alot of embellishments.
