Q: Do I take custom orders / special commissions? A: Yes I do. A large part of my everyday work is making special items for clients. I can work with you to create a custom, one of-a-kind piece of pottery or even a complete dinnerware set that compliments your style and glaze preferences. Contact me to discuss further details.
Q: Have I always been artistic? A: Yes I have. Ever seen I have been a child I have had a creative spirit. As a child I worked with paints, crayons, magic markers, colored pencils, and of course playdough! My artistic abilities continued with me in high school where I was actively involved in art classes and attended the S.C. Governer's School for the Arts at Furman University. In 1985, I continued my education and attended the University of Georgia and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and Art. After college graduation, I worked for many prestigious companies including Brunschwig & Fils, The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, and the High Museum of Art. Today, I am a full-time professional potter and will always continue to expand my artistic abilities. In my sparetime, I enjoy photography and recently have started to sell my landscape photographs of the Carolina countryside.
